Be real
- Use your real first name and photos of you. A clear photo of your face helps people recognize you on move-in day.
- Only join school pages you're actually applying to, admitted to or going to, and pick your honest status.
- One account per person. Don't pretend to be someone else.
- You must be 17 or older.
Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, threats or unwanted contact. If someone isn't interested, move on.
- No hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or any other identity.
- No sexual content, nudity or sexually suggestive photos.
- No violence, weapons, drugs or other illegal activity.
Keep it about finding your people
- No spam, selling, promotions, paid group chats or recruiting for businesses.
- Don't post anyone else's private information, like their phone number, address or last name, without their permission.
- Don't screenshot and share other people's profiles outside UniLinked to mock or target them.
Stay safe
- School pages aren't verified, so don't assume someone is who they say they are.
- Get to know people on video calls or in public places before making plans to live together.
- Never send money to someone you met on UniLinked.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Report and block
Open anyone's profile and tap the … button to report or block them. Reporting is private and also blocks them. Blocking hides you from each other everywhere. You can see and undo blocks under Me, then Blocked people.
What happens when rules are broken
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We review reports and aim to act within 24 hours. Depending on what happened, we remove content, suspend the account, or ban it permanently. Serious threats may be shared with law enforcement.
